And Away We Go Again…

Following their 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Monday, June 12, the New York Yankees were 38-23. They had won six in a row and had made it through a 10-game stretch against American League East foes (Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles) with a 7-3 record. The Bombers were in first place in the division, four games ahead of Boston. Wow, who saw that coming? Unfortunately, as the old saying goes, that was then, and this is now.
