It’s another season of baseball in Trenton! The Thunder open their season at home this Thursday April 13th against the Portland Sea Dogs. It happens to be Thirsty Thursday, where Bud and Bud Lights are just $2. That’s every Thursday all season!
The Thunder are the Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, so for many of these players it could be their last stop before they head to the big league in the Bronx. So a very high level of baseball is played.
The fabulous Thunder staff hosted the More Sports Now crew last season and we profiled the organization with help from Thunder radio announcer Adam Giardino.
Beautiful Arm & Hammer park sits on the Delaware River. It is just off route 29, so it’s easily accessible, tickets are as low as $11 and the park offers a variety of food and beverage options at a fraction of the price of the big league stadiums. It’s a fun, inexpensive afternoon or evening out for friends, families, office parties, and group outings.
