Well New York Football Giants fans, welcome to the Geno Smith era. Sunday in Oakland marks the first time that Eli Manning will not start a game at quarterback for Big Blue since November 21, 2004. His streak of consecutive games started will come to an end at 210, but news broke Sunday morning that it may not be the only streak regarding the Giants that will be ending. According to sources, head coach Ben McAdoo’s tenure with the team may be over as soon as Monday morning! Here is a tweet from our friend, Pat Leonard, Giants beat writer from the New York Daily News:
I have approached every Ben McAdoo press conference since San Fran as if it could be his last. Looks like today is it. BREAKING, report: McAdoo to be fired, could happen before Monday is up. And I can find no signs this isn't true. https://t.co/aZo8xbCsdy

After seeing his Giants brand sullied this week following how “Not So Gentle” Ben handled the Manning benching/demotion/situation, word is that John Mara has had enough. All one had to do was pick up a newspaper, turn on the television, flip on the radio, or check out twitter to see the Giants were getting annihilated. It was quite frankly, em-MARA-ssing, and that my friends is bad for business. Couple the “Giant” PR hit with the team’s play (and sometimes lack thereof), and it’s apparently Go-Time for Ben McAdoo. The only question now is: how much rope does Jerry Reese have left?
And, if you are wondering how Giants’ fans are taking the news, here is a hint:
