He rocks in the tree tops all day long
Hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and singing his song
All the little birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet
For the newest feature here at My 2 Sense, we are traveling back in time to the year 1972. The great Michael Jackson re-recorded the song, Rockin Robin, and though it has nothing to do with social media, it does here for me/us! From time to time, I will scour Twitter to find timely, interesting, funny, controversial, and poignant tweets from news makers (athletes, teams, writers, etc.) here in our backyard (New Jersey/New York). Let’s dive into our first installment.
The last time a team from Michigan came to Rutgers, they hung 78 points on the Scarlet Knights. That was the Wolverines football team, thanks to head coach Jim Harbaugh. Well, Wednesday night Steve Pikiell and his improving men’s basketball team hit the hardwood at The RAC against Ann Arbor’s basketball squad. Here is how Rutgers hyped the game:

While we are all waiting around to see whether or not Carmelo Anthony will get traded, the Brooklyn Nets made a move. No, Brook Lopez has not gone anywhere yet (there is still time), but general manager, Sean Marks has traded Bojan Bogdanovic to the Washington Wizards. For a team/franchise that needs EVERYTHING, getting a first round draft pick back is a score.
.@BrooklynNets reportedly trade Bogdanovic, McCullough to @WashWizards for Andrew Nicholson, 2017 first-round pick https://t.co/aXbvFgk995 pic.twitter.com/xoqbUQDtkz

Spring training is underway for all Major League Baseball teams and while there is much on-field activity that takes place, players do have some downtime for themselves. Case and point, New York Mets left-handed pitcher Steven Matz had the opportunity to do some fishing (I think you’re going to need a bigger boat Steven).
Fishing with @BlacktipH was no joke. They got me and @GilmartinSean hooked up with some sharks! pic.twitter.com/ci8RYFcJ8i

Alex Rodriguez is back! He is spending some time with the New York Yankees in spring training as a mentor to a few of their younger players. I wonder if he plans on teaching them the finer points of how A-Rod became A-Fraud?
I can't believe my old uniform #13 still fits!!! #yankees pic.twitter.com/iY5BxAZTNk
